We made a surprise trip "home" last weekend in time for my family's annual apple-picking adventures.

We figure we've been going to this orchard for twenty years now. And, while it has always been a good time, I have to say that with seven adults and seven little ones (3 months to five years old), it was a whole new kind of chaotic fun.

Lola loved it all.

From the apples...

To the pumpkins...

To the "moo-moo choo-choo" ...

 To new slides...
She had a wonderful time. Although I think she would have been happy to just ride along on the hayride all day long.

In typical fashion, she slept through most of it.

But not all of it.
It was kind of a spur-of-the-moment trip. But filled with all sorts of fun. We got in Friday night. Lola played lots with Grandma and Grandpa Orie, of course fighting bedtime later that night. Saturday was with my family, and then we were back with the Wesleys Sunday as the guys watched (endured?) the Vikings game and us girls went Halloween shopping for Lola.

So much fun.

Time just always seems to go by so quickly!
